Feature and Follow Friday is a weekly blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The idea of this blog hop is for bloggers to have an opportunity to make new friends and gain new followers. I follow you and you follow me. Fun!
Have you ever convinced someone to read a book, a series, or a whole genre? What book(s) and who was it? Did they like it?
Probably my most often recommended book is Redeeming Love by Francince Rivers. This book is wonderful! I have been recommending it for years! Redeeming Love is a Christian novel that is a retelling of Hosea and Gomer from the Bible. It is set in the Old West and it is a beautiful story! I have recommended this book so many times I can’t even keep track of who but absolutely everyone has loved it as much as I did.
My next most often recommended book is Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen. I absolutely love this novel. It was my introduction to Magical Realism and is often the introduction to the genre to the people I recommend it too. Again everyone has enjoyed it!

I’ve heard quite a few things about Redeeming Love. I’ve always been iffy about Christian fiction not because of the religious aspect because I’m Christian but I’ve always thought they might be boring. Can’t hurt to start with Redeeming Love especially with all the rave reviews. Thanks for dropping by 🙂
I am a Christian but I very rarely read Christian novels because I find them too preachy. I want to escape into a book. Francine Rivers is my one exception. I love ALL of her books!
Oh nice! Those are totally new to me! Not really my kind of read but glad you liked them and were able to share the love!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
Have a GREAT weekend!

Our book club encourages reading just about EVERYTHING! We vote on monthly group reads to discuss. Sometimes we hate ‘em; sometimes we love ‘em. The most important thing is to have fun, right?
I’ve never read either of those books. I’m always looking for something new. Thanks for the follow, following via bloglovin and GFC
I haven’t read either of those. I’ll have to check them out. I’m an existing follower on Bloglovin’.

I love Redeeming Love! That was my home run book. I was a sophomore in high school and I HATED reading. After reading Redeeming Love I realized that I had to get my hands on every book I could find after that. Such a wonderful book! Also, have you read The Mark of the Lion trilogy? I think they are even BETTER than Redeeming Love (and I’ve reread that book 5 times over). 🙂
I have read EVERYTHING Francine Rivers had written!
Well that’s not true. I still haven’t read Bridge to Haven but that had only just been released.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I am new follower via bloglovin’. I have never heard of these but I am interested. I would like to find a Christian fantasy book but not sure how that would work! Thanks for sharing!!

Wouldn’t that be great! That is actually what I’m writing!
I haven’t read any of these books but Garden Spells is interesting.
Thanks for stopping by and for following. Following right back via Bloglovin’.
I’ve never heard of Redeeming Love, but it sounds amazing. I haven’t read a lot of Christian fiction and never a Bible adaptation! I’ll have to give it a look! I’m a new Bloglovin’ follower! Thanks for sharing 🙂 I hope you had a great weekend!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by. New follower here! My mom read Redeeming Love a long time ago when I was a kid (around 8 or 9, I think). She did not let me read it when I reached for it. Lol. I remember that cause I saw the book a few months ago when I was cleaning the house.
Thanks for stopping by.
