Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the Broke and the Bookish.
There is a mixture of some anticipated new releases and books that have been around awhile but I just haven’t gotten to yet. They are also not in any particular order because my next big read changes with my mood.
10. The Cockcoo’s Calling by Robert Gailbraith (JK Rowling). I’m curious about this one. The Harry Potter series had been by reentry into reading children’s and young adult books but I was hugely disappointed with The Casual Vacancy.
9. Bridge to Haven by Francine Rivers. I have always like this author and am looking forward to reading this one.
8. & 7. Insurgent & Allegiant by Veronica Roth. I know I’m way behind in this series.
6. City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare. Another series I’m behind in.
5. Still Life with Breadcrumbs by Anna Quindlen. I’ve never read this author before, but I’ve heard good things.
4. Panic by Lauren Oliver. I’ve like everything I’ve read so far by Oliver, so I’m looking forward to reading her latest.
3. Dear Killer by Katherine Ewell. Another new-to-me author, but the description has me curious.
2. Lost Lake by Sarah Addison Allen. I love Allen’s books! I can’t wait to read this one!
1. Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys. This is yet another new-to-me author, but I have heard such good things about this book. And the topic has me curious. Must be the counselor in me.
Have fun reading!
I love your blog title! My blog title is “You, Me, and a Cup of Tea” and I use that quote from C.S. Lewis too. 🙂
On your blog about me page I noticed you said you were homeschooling your children. I was homeschooled through high school and I loved it (gave me more time for reading). Hope that continues to go well for you. 🙂

Tea and Books just go together, don’t they? We love homeschooling! Glad you enjoyed it too!
Oh I definitely need to catch up to Divergent series before the movie comes out. Great list!
I’m glad I’m not the only one still reading this series. My daughter is begging me to take her to the movie.
I loved Insurgent and Allegiant. I hope you like them too. I can’t wait to read Dear Killer. I hope it’s as good as I want it to be!
I’m sure I will love them. Divergent was a really good read. I can’t wait to see what you think of Dear Killer.
Great picks! I really want to read some of these myself, especially Panic & Dear Killer. I hope you find the time to get to them all My TTT.
Ahhh time. It would be nice to have the time to read them all…As well as all the others that didn’t make it to the list.
I really want to read Panic as well. I love her writing! Happy reading!
I really like her too. Hope Panic is as good as I anticipate!
I am really curious about The Cuckoo’s Calling as well. I know it isn’t Harry Potter but I still want to give it a chance.
Did you read the Casual Vacancy? It certainly wasn’t Harry Potter. But I’m hearing better things about this one.
I still need to read Divergent! I love the covers for Lost Lake and Out of the Easy. That alone has me wanting to pick those up!
Good covers can really draw me in.
You have such interesting looking choices – adding a few to my reading list! And I just got the audiobook for Cuckoo’s Calling – I can’t wait to get to it!
I feel like I am the only one who hasn’t read The Cuckoo’s Calling yet – glad to see it is not the case! Panic is such an interesting book – it had me thinking for a long time after I read it. Out of the Easy is a fantastic book, you should also read Between Shades of Gray. Ruta Sepetys is such a wonderful writer.
